| Thursday 7th April 2005 The Intermediate team has enjoyed mixed success in the league to date. On Easter Sunday they enjoyed a comfortable victory over Sarsfields with scores coming from Orla Ryan, Ursula Whiriskey, Denise Gilligan and Amy Flaherty. Final Score: Sarsfields 1:2 Craughwell 4:4. Last Saturday however, newly relegated Shamrocks had the upper hand over the home side on a scoreline off Craughwell 1:2 Shamrocks 1:10. The next league game sees Craughwell take on Cappataggle on Saturday 17th April. The U-14s have enjoyed winning ways having now won all four group games. On Easter Monday, they defeated St. Thomas’ by 5:2 to 1:1. Last Saturday they beat Skehana 4:2 to 1:0 and followed this by traveling to Kinvara on Monday where, in difficult weather conditions, they defeated the home side 4:4 to 0:0. Victory in their final group game against Mountbellew on Saturday will see them qualify for the semi-finals. |
