The U-14s have qualified for the county semi-final, having won all their group games. The semi-final will take place next Sunday evening with the opposition team yet to be confirmed. The U-10 girls are joint top of their group following wins over Oranmore, Ardrahan and a draw with near neighbours Clarinbridge. The Intermediate team are also joint leaders of their league group. Their upcoming fixture against Killimordaly will be crucial to ensure qualification for the knock-out stages. Meanwhile the U-8s, U-12s continue training with U-12 and U-13 fixtures ahead over the coming weeks. Congratulations to the Craughwell girls who were part of the Presentation College Athenry panel that won the All Ireland Junior A Final in Ratoath recently They defeated St. Pats of Magherafelt by 3:10 to 2:3. Those involved were Audrey Slevin, Deirdre Ryan, Jacqueline Greene, Rachel Kenny, Rachel Kennedy at corner forward and Raychel Kelly at full back. The team got a warm welcome that night when a good crowd and bonfires awaited them on their return to Craughwell that night.
